Stargardt Disease Treatment in our clinic with Dr Osman FIRATLI Treatment Method

Dr Firatli Treatment Method with Electro-Acupuncture Therapy for Stargardt Disease and Macular Degeneration was first applied by Dr. Osman FIRATLI in our clinic and we have been continuing with our practices since early 2000’s.

Electro-Acupuncture Treatment Methods are applied in many ways by various specialist in all over the world. The uniqueness of our treatment comes from our wide selection of acupuncture points in a specific combination for each patient type based on our treatment experience of more than 7000 patients with the Retinal Dystophy Diseases. In addition to this unique selection and combination of acupoints we electro-stimulate with a unique pattern the most efficient points during the treatment sessions.

Every visual field test analyses is compared with the one previous the treatment. This way it’s very easy to watch the prognosis of the patients that attend and finish our treatment.

Our Method

Dr.FIRATLI has developed his Electro-Acupuncture Treatment Method for each patient type with a Retinal Dystrophy Disease. In this regard; present symptoms, severity of the visual acuity loss, present complications such as optic nerve atrophy, macular oedema any additional physiologic or psychiatric disease play important roles on acupuncture points selections, their combination and the electro-stimulation of the certain combination.
